-C のところに、
If the -C option is used without the -M option, mkisofs will create a filesystem image that is intended to be used for a second session on a CDextra.
-M のところに、
This option may only be used in conjunction with the -C option. だから、-M は -C と共に付けなければならないが、-C を単独で使うことはできる。
